Ironman Texas 2013 - this weekend was the Ironman held in The Woodlands. This is my second year attending, last year as a fan and this year as a volunteer. I was stationed at mile marker 86 on the 112 mile bike portion of the race.
I assisted 3 riders, two of which were near exhaustion and the 3rd who knew it was time to stop. The heat was around 93 degrees plus a 15-20 mph head wind on this stretch of the ride.
I have a lot of respect for the Tri athlete, it is not an easy ride. Here's a few photo's that came out good.
